2010 - E. Jackson, L. Barry and N. Marzok – ICLEI Canada-Local Governments for Sustainability

This guide and workbook produced by ICLEI Canada-Local Governments for Sustainability provides a comprehensive framework for undertaking adaptation initiatives in a community. The guide outlines a methodology for adaptation planning, using five major milestones (initiate, research, plan, implement and monitor/review) and how to implement each of them. The workbook provides seventeen tools, ranging from basic to more complex, to help communities operationalize the adaptation methodology described in the guide. The authors have also included a supplement to the main guide that provides comprehensive information on other adaptation related resources.
